This is a major upgrade and users are recommended to upgrade.
The new version has many improvements and fixes.
Following is a partial list of the main features of the new version:
1. Localization (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German,
Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese)
2. Major UI improvements all across. Including colors & icons, visual
effects (transitions and feedback), and usability improvements (zoom over
image list, rotate images in list, floating toolbar moved into the window,
drag image visible while dragging).
3. Added Lay Flat books (Digilabs version)
4. Mac UI fixes in line with PC version
5. Mac. Fixes the unzip issue with the Mac download.
6. Around 100+ fixes and improvements. To name a few: improved startup
time on low RAM machines, better startup dialogs, better sepia, better
algorithm for fast track book generation, locking of PDF preview, fixed
layouts, odd-even page printing, and many more.
Some features that are not specifically Digilabs related but will become
enables for private labels with this release
7. Sharing can be offered to private labels.
8. Private labels can request that users can export locally the files
to be burned to a CD and sent to them. The files are encrypted and can be
used only by the private label.

This is a major upgrade and users are recommended to upgrade.
The new version has many improvements and fixes.

General
Installation Note (Windows only):
The new version uses a new installer. Therefore, if you upgrade from a version earlier than V2.0.4, it is highly recommended to Uninstall the older version before you install the new one. Your old projects will remain and you will not use anything.
Bug Fixes:
When ordering cards with a background, the background was ignored in the final uploaded file (affected v. 2.0.2 & 2.0.3 only).
Cards used to print not centered (i.e. image on front or center will be 1/8” shifted bottom & left. (affected v. 2.0.2 & 2.0.3 only).
Fixed issue with low quality web images on the new Mac Intel

Upgraded the Java Runtime environment for improved performance and faster startup time.
Using a new installer to add reliability and speed.

General
Release 1.6.0 has major bug fixes and improvements and it
is recommended that all users will upgrade to this version.
New Features
The Digi-Labs galleries web service went through a major upgrade.
The new software was update to support those changes and future
changes in the web service:Web wizard simplified as most of
its functionality has moved to the web.
- Web favorites are integrated with the software
(see favorites).
- From the new web admin, users can control
all aspects of the gallery interface, including fonts, frames,
background, gallery icon sets, etc.

V. 1.5.0 (PC) (9/27/04)
General
Release 1.5.0 has major bug fixes and improvements and it
is recommended that all users will upgrade to this version.
New Features
Color - Automatic Support for embedded ICC profiles in images.
Improved color management for output
Automatic Sharpening of web images - scaling large images
for web viewing may result in loss of focus and softening
of the image. Auto sharpening of images for web viewing will
correct this automatically.
Card ordering module - the software supports the creation
and ordering of double sided digitally printed cards (CMYK).
Cards come in a variety if sizes and shapes, including 4x6
postcards, wallets, Z-cards, and folding 4x6 and 5x7 cards.
Improvement to the web wizard - Support for the latest release
of the web features, including private galleries, B&W
and Sepia previews and more. The web wizard also provide better
feedback in the case of an error.
Multi currency support for web galleries (for PayPal shopping
cart only)
Other Improvements
Improved proof ordering mechanism - proof orders are not limited
any longer to the whole project. Proof order can be assembled
to include only some of the images in the project.
Improved image scaling algorithm - some images on some rare
cases had used a low quality scaling algorithm for the web.
This was changed to enforece high quality scaling in all cases.
Slide show improvements - the slideshow can include floating
images as part of the show if required.
Simpler SW registration process.
Bugs Fixes
Large page format printing, used to clip to 8.5"x11"
on a local printer. - Fixed.
Order upload handling and resuming - fixes for ftp uploading
of large order files over noisy networks.
